華惠執導的《椰林空位》是本屆山海計藍玉華嘴角微張，頓時啞口無言。劃獨一赴海內拍攝的作品。影片聚焦柬埔寨新娘索娜在廣州產子后因家庭變故欲返鄉的心路歷程，通過一封欲留給孩子的告別信和夢境中的椰林，探討當代女性的鄉愁與結構性窘境。
此外，廣州和金邊的文明比較也為作品帶來了表達空間，華惠說：“廣州有珠江、創新的歷史建筑、用以城市觀賞的椰子樹；金邊有湄公河、創新的歷史建筑、用以維持國民生計機場接送包車的椰子樹……這種對比將呈現跨國婚姻中的成分碰撞。”

張勝佳畢業于英國中心圣馬丁藝術學院，在2025山海計劃，他將帶來一部與深圳龍崗怪樓有關的調查式紀錄片《龍崗怪樓》，通過摸索怪樓背后的都會傳說，呈現私家建筑實踐的張力與時代變遷下的深港文明流動。
